International Energy Fair and Conference POWER-GEN Brazil 2014 was held in Sao Paulo, Brazil

ROSATOM’s subsidiaries participated in the Conference with the united exposition including Atomenergoprom, the United Company NIAEP-Atomstroyexport, JSC “PA Electrochemical Plant” and JSC “Afrikantov OKBM”.

The event is the largest gathering in energy sector collecting under one roof representatives of major drivers in energy market of Brazil and Latin America, such as Eletrobras, Petrobras, IMPSA, Hamon Brazil and many others.

ROSATOM’s united exposition allowed for attendees to find out about modern Russian technologies, overseas projects in NPP construction as well as construction of infrastructure projects, including projects in RW and SNF management; information about small and medium types of reactors represented by JSC “Afrikantov OKBM”; references in uranium enrichment and isotopes production represented by JSC “PA Electrochemical Plant”.

It was also one of the attendees key interest to search innovative virtual NPP model based on VVER-1200 and project of Floating NPP with onshore facilities. Made in technology of “augmented reality” these projects allowed to learn principles of work and internal design directly at the exhibition.
