A round table discussion on problems of geological prospecting was conducted under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation Alexander Khloponin in the Conference Hall of the main headquarters of JSC "Rosgeologia”. The event was part of the first international conference "Exploration 2014", co-organized by the company.
Key themes of discussion were modern technology in the industry, development of technology under sanction conditions, new regions for exploration, and regions with the greatest potential for new discoveries. They also talked about effective models of governance within the exploration industry based on international experience.
Roundtable participants commended the work within the framework of events, with arrangements reached on the basis that this communication would be conducted on a regular basis with the assistance of various experts.
At the conclusion of the roundtable discussions, Alexander Khloponin also held a working meeting with the top management of Rosgeologia. Discussion included further prospects of the holding company and its role as an instrument of Development Strategy for Geological Industry up to 2030. The results of the work of the holding received a positive evaluation.
