Belorusneft successfully defended the results of seismic exploration of Block No.31 in Ecuador

On the whole, 688 sq. km of 3D seismic was shot. The results of seismic exploration have already been handed over to the Petroamazonas State Oil Company, and Ecuador party is carrying out the interpretation of the given data at the moment. Yet, at this stage the information provided was of great interest for the partners as the data will serve as the basis for determining prospective sections for further search of hydrocarbons.

The contract between state oil companies Belorusneft and Petroamazonas involves 1.5 thousand km2 of 3D seismic acquisition in Ecuador. Belorusneft is ready to start the final processing of field seismic data. The preparation for the tests has already begun and will allow determining the parameters of digital processing.
