HMS Group to manufacture the pumping units for RusHydro

Hydromashservice – the integrated commercial and engineering company of HMS Group – will manufacture and supply a large batch of the boiler feed and condensate pumps for priority projects of RusHydro in the Far East.

Following the contracts, 14 electric-driven pumping units manufactured by the HMS Group companies will be delivered during the first half of 2015 for the construction projects of the Blagoveshchenskaya TPP Phase 2 and the 1st stage of CHP in Sovetskaya Gavan.

The boiler feed pumping units are equipped with hydraulic coupling by Voith Turbo (Germany) providing smooth performance control and overload protection for the electric motor. All the equipment is designed in accordance with the customer specification including extended lifetime and increased seismic resistance.

The Blagoveshchenskaya TPP and CHP in Sovetskaya Gavan are the part of the RusHydro investment program for construction of four new power plants in the Far East. The projects are implemented in cooperation with RAO Energy System of East in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation.

The general contractor of the CHP construction in Sovetskaya Gavan is the GlobalElektroServis engineering company. The second stage of the Blagoveshchenskaya TPP construction is performed by Power Machines – a power machinery manufacturing holding.
