The experts of OOO Test-St-Petersburg Co. Ltd. carried out the inspection of the Factory for compliance with the requirements of ISO 14001:2004 international standard and GOST R ISO 14001-2004.
The auditors examined the activities of the department of industrial safety, labor and environment protection, stock-preparation shop, assembly workshops No. 1, No. 2, inner tubing shop, technical control department, quality department, power department and mechanical department of OOO Nizhnekamsk Truck Tire Factory.
The auditors appraised important aspects: compliance with the environmental policy requirements, records administration of the environmental management system, management of integrated environmental management system standards and the quality management system, emergency management, environmental management, production and consumption wastes disposal and improving the staff’s knowledge in the field of ecology.
The environmental activities of the Factory are constantly and systematically carried out in accordance with the Environmental Action Plans, which primarily envisage environmental improvement and rational use of natural resources and raw materials, reduction of production and consumption wastes, ensuring environmental safety in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of environmental protection and environmental management, compliance with standards and other regulatory documents.
The audit resulted in issuing the international certificate to the Factory for compliance with the requirements of Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2004 and GOST R ISO 14001-2004 in relation to the production of pneumatic tires for trucks and trailers therefore, buses, trolley buses, tractors and trailers therefore, as well as agricultural machinery.
Obtaining the certificates with logos IQNet and ACCREDIA gives the Factory the opportunity to promote its image in the domestic and foreign markets, participate in tenders, honorably represent the products at trade shows and sign lucrative contracts with domestic and foreign customers.
The Factory's management plans provide for the future integration of the existing Environmental Management System ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 "Occupational Health and Safety Management System".
Integrated management systems are created on the basis of a systematic approach to the enterprise management, which enables linking together various aspects of the activities exercising eventually significant influence on the successful operation of the entire enterprise.
