BelNIPIneft researchers win government grants

Two employees of the Institute won the grants of the Belarusian Republican Foundation for Fundamental Research in 2014. This reputable public organization provides financial support for targeted research on a competitive basis.

The projects are evaluated by the most famous scientists in their respective areas of expertise. Two of our geologists were selected to receive the grants – Olga Gribovskaya with the project "Oil potential of sedimentary deposits in the North Near Edge Zone of Pripyat Trough", and Elena Ignatkevich, who presented a research paper on the Upper Devonian igneous rocks of Pripyat Trough. Young researchers of BelNIPIneft are participating in a total of 14 research, development and technological work in 6 areas.
