Stroytransgaz completed construction of Leningradskaya NPS-2 Gatchinskaya overhead transmission line

Within the framework of the contract STG equipment and materials were supplied, construction and assembly, commissioning were carried out.

The length of a single-chain HV line 330 kV Leningradskaya NPS-2 Gatchinskaya is 94.6 km. The transmission line crosses Lomonosov, Volosov and Gatchina districts of Leningrad oblast.

In the course of construction, STG rearranged the existing transmission lines and five high pressure main gas pipelines crossed by the new HV line. At substation Gatchinskaya 330 kV expansion of 330 kV outdoor switchgear and related secondary systems, including automated information and measurement system for commercial accounting of electricity, was carried out

Currently, STG is about to complete 330 kV HV transmission line Leningradskaya NPS-2 - Kingiseppskaya with its length of 82.1km.

New transmission lines with total length of 176.7 km will form part of power distribution system of Leningradskaya NPS-2 to be gradually launched by Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC. Implementation of this project with participation of STG shall significantly increase capabilities and reliability of electricity supply to Leningrad oblast.
