Transneft Completed Designing of Transportable Cleaning Complex for Cleaning Tanks from Bottom Sediments

In 2014, within the framework of development engineering works of the production equipment department, Transneft R&D, LLC, in collaboration with Transneft Upper Volga, JSC, completed designing of transportable cleaning complex for cleaning tanks from bottom sediments.

The complex is intended for dilution, extraction and phase separation of bottom sediments in the course of cleaning from the same of oil and oil product tanks with a capacity of 1,000 to 50,000 cubic meters. Dilution of bottom sediments is performed by the way of their fluid washing with hot water.

A pilot model of the transportable cleaning complex has been transferred for operation to Transneft Volga Region, JSC.
