CS Mikun is a part of the Ukhta – Torzhok gas transportation system. The works commenced in December 2012. The start-up complex of the compressor station has been put into operation and includes 2 gas pumping units (GPU), total power 32 MW. The Ukhta – Torzhok is a main gas pipeline 1371 km long to connect the centre of Russia with the Bovanenkovo – Ukhta gas pipeline systems. The design capacity is 81.5 bln m3 of gas per year.
The works on the Aleksandrovskaya compressor station commenced in January 2013 and were a part of OJSC Gazprom`s reconstruction and technical renovation of electrically driven compressor stations of the pipeline Nizhnevartovskiy gas processing plant – Parabel – Kuzbass. The station is equipped with three GPUs, total power 12 MW. The gas pipeline capacity makes 8.2 bln m3 of gas annually. The gas flows into the pipeline from the Myldzhinskoye, Severo-Vasyuganskoye and Luginetskoye field deposits and is transported into the regions of Western Siberia.
The Nevinnomyssk compressor station is a part of the gas pipeline system Northern Caucasus – Centre at the site Privolnoye – Mozdok. There are 3 GPUs in the compressor workshop, total power 30 MW. The works were implemented within the shortest period of time: from March till December 2014. To achieve the set aim there worked more than 500 people at the production facility.
The main goal of the compressor stations` reconstruction is the increase in the gas pumping volume due to the growing demand in the regions and installed modern equipment that will also enable to enhance the reliability of gas supply. During the reconstruction the gas supply has not been cut off, and has been step-by-step transferred from the old compressor station to the new one.
