Transition to Transportation of Low-Sulfur Diesel Fuel as of April 1, 2015

As of April 1, 2015, Transneft, JSC will make diesel fuel (DF) with sulfur content not exceeding 10 ppm (Euro-5) available at all the end points of oil products delivery from the oil products trunk pipeline (OPTP) system.

Appropriate notification has been sent to all the Company’s customers.

At the same time, pipelines will transport Euro-4 diesel fuel with sulfur content below 50 ppm and Еuro-5 with sulfur content below 10 ppm in consecutive stages in the direction of Nikolskoye – Stalnoy Kon – Ventspils. To maintain the quality of these batches of oil products, separate tank farms have been allocated for Euro-5 and Euro-4 DF at the Nikolskoye, Stalnoy Kon, 8N and Disna stations.

In addition, separate loading in railroad tank cars of two kinds of oil products – Euro-5 and Euro-4 diesel fuel – is ensured at the Nikolskoye station.

The transportation of low-sulfur fuel has been implemented in accordance with the oil companies’ requests for 2015.

Subject to observance of schedules for oil products delivery into the OPTP system by the oil companies, Transneft, JSC, for its part, guarantees adherence to fuel transportation schedules to end points of delivery.
