These figures correspond to the Plan of Inspection of OTPL and OPTPL of Transneft, JSC for the 1st quarter of 2015. The main volume of work was implemented in Transneft East, LLC pipelines (2,190.34 km), Transneft Volga Region, JSC (1,781.18 km), Transneft Druzhba, JSC (1,026.78 km), and Transneft Far East, LLC (830.69 km).
Also, a total of 124.22 km of oil product trunk pipelines (OPTPL) have been inspected during this period. Inspection was carried out at the facilities of Mostransnefteproduct, JSC.
As a result of the performed inspection, 145 technical reports were prepared. These reports served as the basis for declaring the condition of OTPL and OPTPL to be satisfactory. The detected defects will be corrected during scheduled repairs in 2015.
Overall, in-line inspection of 47,588.05 km of oil trunk pipelines and 5,115.54 km of oil product trunk pipelines of Transneft, JSC has been planned for 2015.
Transneft Diascan, JSC operates in accordance with applicable requirements of the environmental policy of Transneft, JSC and serves as a guarantor of the technical reliability of the world’s largest oil pipeline system. The company performs inspection of pipelines with diameters ranging from 159 mm to 1,220 mm with the use of proprietary pipeline inspection gadgets (PIG). The above include calipers, ultrasonic, magnetic, combined magnetic and combined magnetic and ultrasonic flaw detectors. In terms of their technical parameters, PIG manufactured by Transneft Diascan, JSC correspond to the best world standards while some of them have no analogs in the world. Currently, the company uses 63 pipeline inspection gadgets.
