The main type of work performed on oil trunk pipelines was the average repair of valves. In total, the pipeliners of the comapny completed disassembly, replacement of components, and re-assembly of 18 valves. To do this, it was necessary to pump approximately 15 thousand cubic meters of oil from shut-down oil pipelines.
During the scheduled stop at Vagay PS, defects on the collector of the main line pump units were removed. At Samotlor LODS (Line Operation Dispatcher Station), hydraulic testing of the supply area of the Purpe - Samotlor oil pipeline was performed.
All the work has been carried out within the framework of the comprehensive Technical Upgrading, Revamping and Overhaul Program by the linear operating crews of pumping stations, central repair services of subdivisions of the company as well as by the Specialized Department for Emergency Prevention and Response (the SDEPR).
Owing to careful engineering preparation for the scheduled maintenance, the whole range of work has been carried out in a timely manner and with a high quality, which will allow for continued safe transportation of oil.
