Fire Prevention Preparation for Summer Season Is Underway at TATNEFT

Unscheduled briefings of the structural divisions' employees are being carried out with clarification of the procedures for notification of the officers and staff in the event of the emergency situations occurrence in order to respond rapidly to possible abnormal situations.
Mobile groups are being established that will control compliance with the fire safety rules and take actions against offenders for the early detection of fires that can endanger the production facilities.
The planned activities include removal of dry grass, shrubs, debris, making extra stocks of primary means of fire extinguishing tools, as well as checks of fire protection systems serviceability, etc.
Special attention is paid to the compliance with the requirements of environmental protection and woodland management. It is strictly required to comply with the Forest Code of the Russian Federation and the "Rules of fire safety in the woods". In particular, improvement of mineralized fire protection strips in the location of the facilities is carried out, which are then kept in a fire-safe condition. Warning signs and notices are arranged at the lease wood lots.
