Turbine was put into operation on the Kamskaya HPP

After commissioning works and successfully conducted 72-hour load test, assembly unit was handed over for commercial operation. The parties have signed corresponding act.

During commissioning the rating curve and vibration characteristics, cavitation and environmental performance, efficiency and pressure under the cover of hydraulic turbine were checked. All controlled parameters correspond to norms.

This is the 18th hydro unit of Kamskaya HPP that has been updated by "Turboatom" since 1996.

According to the contract signed in 2010, "Turboatom" made a profound reconstruction of four hydro turbines of Kamskaya HPP. As a result of the modernization the designed capacity of each hydro unit increased from 21.8 MW to 25 MW, the maximum capacity is 28 MW. The service life of the turbines has increased by 40 years; environmental safety of the units has increased. Specialists of the company also carried out supervision, participation in the pre-commissioning and putting the turbines into operation.
