Thus the overall supply of oil will reach 16 million tons per year in 2015. The agreement was reached during the negotiations held on June 5, 2015, which were attended by Transneft, JSC, Rosneft Oil Company, OJSC and Petrochina International (CNPC subsidiary).
In the course of negotiations the Chinese company representative informed the meeting participants about the development program of refineries located in North-West of PRC. Therefore, the Russian companies were suggested to consider the option, according to which, starting from 2018, the annual volume of transportation through Skovorodino – Mohe will be 20 million tons and 10 million tons will be transported through Kozmino Port and Kazakhstan territory. At the same time the CNPC representatives stated that the proposed supplies scheme is a subject for discussion, and the Chinese side remains true to its intergovernmental obligations.
In their turn, Transneft, JSC representatives stated the necessity to preserve the current intergovernmental agreement dated March, 2013, as the route changes would entail a radical adjustment of the investment program that has been implemented by the company in the recent years, its representative highlighted.
