Ust-Srednekanskaya HPP is being constructed in the Magadan Region by RusHydro OJSC and VNIIR HydroElectroAutomation CJSC is one of the major electrical equipment suppliers for the power plant.
Under the contract terms, the joint venture shall design, manufacture and deliver 220 kV / 200 MVA transformers, and also shall supply a transformer equipment monitoring system. The scope of contractual obligations includes supervised installation of the equipment and the Customer’s personnel training.
The equipment is scheduled to be delivered in Q3 2016.
Power Machines OJSC is fulfilling an order for Ust-Srednekanskaya HPP as well. The company is to supply a 142.5 MW hydroturbine for the hydraulic unit No. 3, a generator complete with an excitation system as well as automatic control systems for the hydraulic unit.
Currently, two hydraulic units Nos. 1 and 2 have already been operated at Ust-Srednekanskaya HPP. Power Machines OJSC manufactured and supplied the equipment for these hydraulic units in the early 2000s.
