The reserves of the oil field as of the end of 2014 are estimated as 926 billion cubic meters of gas and 30 million tons of oil. The reserves are developed by JSC Yamal SPG –joint venture of NOVATEK, French Total and Chinese CNPC.
Large-scale project involves development of production and transportation infrastructure of the Northern Sea Route. In spite of the technical difficulties and severe climatic conditions, Belarusian experts using the mobile unit for workover and drilling of wells AP-80 could successfully revive the killed well №2471 on the 47th well cluster of Yuzhno-Tambeyskoye gas field. Now the well resumed its normal operation.
