The works were performed in Bryansk and Syzran Regional Oil Product Pipeline Department (ROPPD) in the course of four scheduled shutdowns of the oil product trunk pipelines.
Thus, six defects of the process sections Stalnoy Kon-8N and looping 0–89 km were eliminated and two valves replaced in the line portion of OPTP. Temporary pig trap stations at the Khava and Zhuravka rivers were cut out at the Nikolskoye-Voronezh and Voronezh-Belgorod OPTPs; mid-level repair of ten line and process valves was performed. Four defects were cut out in the linear portion of the Ufa – West Direction OPTP.
The following operations were performed in the course of the scheduled shutdowns of the Kuibyshev-Bryansk OPTP:
- Temporary pig trap stations at the underwater crossing through the Don river at the 805th kilometer of OPTP were tied in;
- Hydraulic testing of the process pipelines and replacement of three valves were performed;
- Valves in the linear section at the underwater crossings of OPTP through the Syzranka and Katada rivers were tied in;
- Three non-standard plungers were cut out and three defects were eliminated;
- underwater crossing through the Neruch river in Oryol Region was connected.
Concurrently, works were performed at LODSs of Bryansk and Syzran ROPDs. Thus, the crew of the Emergency Line Maintenance Service (ELMS) of Nikolskoye LODS replaced a valve and dismantled the blind section at the pump unit discharge in pump house No. 2. Hydraulic testing of the process pipeline sections was conducted at Stanovaya LODS; mid-level repair of two valves was performed and a defect of the process pipeline was cut out at Priboy LODS. Three valves were replaced and a blind section of the process pipeline was dismantled at Stalnoy Kon LODS. Three valves at the pig trap station were replaced and three defects of the process pipelines were cut out at Nikulino LODS. Hydraulic testing of two sections of the process pipeline was conducted at Sosedka LODS; blind sections of the process pipelines were dismantled at Syzran LOADS and Bryansk Loading Depot. Specialists of the mechanical and process equipment repair section of the Production Service Shop (PSS) of Bryansk ROPD performed the mid-level repair of three valves.
During a scheduled shutdown on 15–17 September 2015, the crew of Stalnoy Kon ELMS connected the Oil Quantity and Quality Measuring System (OQQMS) at the station’s offshoot to the oil depot of Rosneft in Orlov Region. The system was connected within the implementation of the investment program of Transnefteproduct Samara, JSC for 2015.
About 75 units of special machines and facilities and over 200 people of the staff were involved in each of the scheduled shutdowns. All the stated operations were conducted in strict accordance with the OPTP shutdown schedule within the technical upgrading, revamping and overhaul programs for 2015. The goal of the scheduled repairs is the improvement of the reliability and safety of oil products transportation by Transnefteproduct Samara, JSC.
