Svyaztransneft finished construction of the first stage of Bratsk - Skovorodino Communication Line

The works were performed as part of the re-equipment and reconstruction program of Svyaztransneft, JSC.

Length of this division of Fiber-Optic Communication Line is equal to 2,420 kilometers. The trunk line was constructed using technology of hanging self-carrying optic cable to road route electrical power transmission line supports. Latest-generation optic cable of G-652D standard is characterized by the best values as regards signal attenuation.

The next stage of construction – installation of equipment of synchronous digital hierarchy, STM-64 level at the sites of control and monitoring stations, communications centers and radio-relay stations. It is planned that the line will be put into service in June 2016.

Putting of the line at the Bratsk – Skovorodino division into service will increase capacity and reliability of communication channels provided for technological and operative needs of the Transneft, JSC system enterprises. It as well will allow significantly expanding the list of services rendered to the users, increasing their quality and moving to a new level of communication market segment.
