The works are conducted within the limits of implementation of the third stage of investment project “Extension of the Skovorodino – Mokhe” up to 30 million tons of oil annually.
Before assembling of the tank large preliminary work on foundation was conducted. In the area of almost 3.5 thousand sq. m watertight screen was installed, electrochemical protection cable was laid, sand base for the foundation was installed in the area of 3 thousand sq. m, hydrophobic layer was laid. After the foundation putting into commission welding of metal structures of the VFRT-50000 tank bottom started. In the future walls and a steel roof will be constructed. The final stage will be assembling of floating pontoon inside the tank.
Project “Extension of the Skovorodino – Mokhe” includes four stages. The first stage was implemented in 2014. An additional main pump unit was installed at Skovorodino PS No. 21.
As part of the second stage an additional line of measurement system for oil quality and quantity was installed at Dzhalinda PMS (pipeline metering station), the existing microprocessor system of automation and unified control system, including supervisory control and data acquisition system, was improved.
The third stage of the program provides for putting into service a tank for oil storage with amount of 50 thousand cubic meters at Skovorodino PS No. 21.
As part of the fourth stage two tanks at PEPS (pipe-end pump station) "Taishet" with total volume of 100 thousand cubic meters will be installed.
It is planned that all the works on extension of flow capacity of Skovorodino – Mokhe Oil Trunk Pipeline up to 30 million tons of oil annually will be finished in the end of 2017.
