The part of these works could be performed only at full TPP shutdown. Such shutdown was performed in September. Upon completion of commissioning of utilities and equipment at the second phase of the plant, trial start-ups, integrated testing and warranty tests will be carried out. Commissioning of the facility is planned for December 2015.
The project for capacity increase of Blagoveshchenskaya TPP - the largest heat power producer in the Amur region – is implemented by constructing the 2-nd phase of the plant. Construction is carried out on the territory and in workshops of the operating plant, new equipment is integrated in the existing building. Commissioning of the 2-nd phase of BTPP will enable to reduce heat power deficit in the capital of the Amur River region. Customer-developer of the facility - Blagoveshchenskaya TPP CJSC (subsidiary of RusHydro PJSC is controlled by RAO Energy Systems of the East PJSC).
After implementation of the project for 2-nd phase construction, installed electric power of the TPP will increase by 120 MW and will make up 400 MW, heat power will increase by 188 Gcal/h and namely up to 1005 Gcal/h. The annual electrical power generation will increase by 464 mln kW-h and will reach 1,468 mln kW-h and the annual heat power output will increase by 730 thous. Gcal and will make up 2,854 thous. Gcal. Coal of Erkovetskiy mine (Amur region) will be fuel for the plant.
