As of now, the builders are about to complete precommissioning of a set of facilities erected as extension to Pur-Pe line operation dispatcher station (LODS) to hook up Zapolyarye-Purpe oil pipeline to it. Oil has been pumped into facilities of Pur-Pe-3 PS system that includes the tank farm of 90,000 m3, a booster station, a boiler house, process pipelines, buildings and installations.
Hydraulic testing of the booster station units has finished successfully. As of now, the vendor factory professionals keep working onsite, testing and setting up the equipment. The boiler house was put into operation, and is now delivering heat to seven process and administrative buildings.
A commission of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision (Rostechnadzor) simultaneously inspects all the pre-commissioned facilities at extension facilities of Pur-Pe LODS and phase 1 linear section of Zapolyarye-Purpe oil pipeline. The inspectors daily fly over the linear section of the oil trunk pipeline, check all facilities for compliance with the regulations adopted in the Russian Federation.
All the efforts on readiness inspection of the extension facilities for Pur-Pe LODS and phase 1 linear section of Zapolyarye-Purpe oil pipeline, and preparations for signing the required conformity statements are expected to be finished in November 2015.
