This is the first coal production company of Kolchuginsk minery, built in soviet times. In November 1930 the «Baikaimskay» mine was brought into operation. A year later the staff made a decision to rename it the November 7th Mine.
Throughout its history, the company has repeatedly achieved outstanding operating results. In its 60-70th years, the face teams of Dmitry Petrenko and Alexei Popov were among the leaders of the coal industry in the country, in terms of labour productivity with mechanized complexes. Both brigadiers have been awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor. In the 80th year «milliners» brigades appeared in the mine and they were the first in Kuzbass. For the highest performance in the implementation of five-year plans and for extended labour merits the mine staff were awarded «Order of the Red Banner of Labour».
A new step in its development began with the entry of the company in the Siberian Coal Energy Company in 2003. The Board of Directors of the company headed by Andrey Melnichenko made a decision to upgrade the enterprise to world-class standards. For technical modernization most modern equipment was purchased. Only in the past 4 years around 2 bln rubles were invested in the mine, where 200 mln was directed to production safety programs.
Today the November 7th mine is among leaders of the world's coal industry in terms of production. The coal that is produced is of high quality and almost all of it is for export. The logical result of this competent technical and personnel policy was the establishment of a new Russian production record from a single working face set on December 10, 2014 by the team of the Hero of Kuzbass, Basil Vatokin amounting to 4 million 661 thousand tonnes.
In 2015 the same team was the first in the industry to produce 2 million tonnes of coal. In celebration of the Great Victory, the November 7th mine together with regional and city authorities built a memorial park, and for its anniversary, the company has fulfilled the production and drilling plans.
As part of the celebrations of anniversary events a large group from the November 7th mine were awarded with ministry, regional, municipal and corporate awards. Memorable gifts were given to veterans of the enterprise. The certificate from the company of one million rubles has become the award for all staff.
Governor of the Kemerovo Region, Aman Tuleev congratulated the miners with the jubilee: «Thanks to your brilliant professional exploits, miner's history of Kuznetsk land is developing, the invaluable experience of our miner's best achievements is preserved and increased, and today the November 7th mine is a leader in the Russian coal industry.
