Svyaztransneft has finished technical re-equipment of communication network on Yaroslavl – Moscow oil trunk pipeline

Priokskoye and Verkhnevolzhskoe Industrial Communication Departments have finished works on technical re-equipment of communication networks of control and monitoring stations of Yaroslavl – Moscow oil trunk pipeline (section from Security Station communications center to Yaroslavl communications center).

Re-equipment of engineering and manufacturing communication network was conducted at 20 facilities, including linear portion of oil trunk pipeline in Moscow, Vladimir, Yaroslavl, Ivanovo and Ryazan Regions. Out-dated communication equipment was replaced by high-speed modern equipment with data transfer with flow capacity of 1 Gb/s. Routed network based on Gigabit Ethernet was installed for transfer of Plant Control Systems and Manufacturing Control Systems (PCS and MCS) data.

Putting of engineering and manufacturing communication network into service will meet the requirements of the unified information system of Transneft, JSC for high-speed communication channels at the level of all services of Yaroslavl – Moscow oil trunk pipeline, operated by Transneft Upper Volga, JSC and Transneft Baltic, LLC.
