Transneft Upper Volga conducts preparation to constructing Shilovo-3 PEPS in Ryazan Region

The investment project includes construction of a loading railway overpass and Shilovo-3 PEPS with a tank farm with amount of 40 thousand cubic meters, as well as modernization of infrastructure of Shelukhovo railway station (village Mosolovo, Ryazan Region). The built linear portion with length of 77 km (DN (diameter nominal) – 350 mm) will connect Shilovo-3 PEPS to the operating Ryazan pump station, which will allow transporting fuel for supplying Moscow Airport Hub from the loading overpass through the existing Ryazan – Moscow oil pipeline (DN – 500 mm), which is under redesigning for oil products pumping. Therefore, oil products supplies towards Moscow airports will be increased up to 2.5 million tons a year. At the present time Moscow Ring Oil Products Pipeline (MROPP) secures transportation of about 1.5 million tons of aviation kerosene produced by Moscow and Ryazan Refineries a year to Moscow airports. Supplies of aviation kerosene to Moscow Region through the redesigned pipeline will be as well performed by Ryazan Oil Refining Company, JSC (Ryazan Region). Oil transportation to Gazpromneft – MNPZ, JSC (Moscow) will continue through Yaroslavl – Moscow oil trunk pipeline. Reconstruction of pipeline system will as well allow organizing new workplaces for technical and operatingpersonnel in Shilovsky District of Ryazan Region. In November – December, 2015 Transneft Upper Volga, JSC will finish the first stage of construction of approach road to the Shilovo-3 PEPS construction site, as well as organization of a temporary inhabited area. All the works on construction and reconstruction of facilities are performed on a scheduled basis; work performance progress rate corresponds to regulatory requirements of Transneft, JSC.
