When replacing an 8.87-km section of the oil trunk pipeline Nizhnevartovsk – Kurgan – Kuibyshev (NKK oil trunk line), a stop valve unit (Du1200) with fencing, automation options and an engineered security system was mounted on a discharge line of the Leninsk line operation dispatcher station (LODS). Besides that, the electrochemical protection system has been revamped, a 9.8-km electric power transmission line has been laid along the pipeline, and the pipeline’s old sections with a total length of 9.83 km were dismantled.
