The document was signed by Rosneft Chairman of the Management Board Igor Sechin and General Director of KAMAZ Sergey Kogogin. The signing ceremony was led by Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
The agreement envisages the supply of more than 1000 modern vehicles of the Russian company in 2016. It will enable Rosneft to significantly renew its operating motor vehicle fleet. Commenting on the signing Igor Sechin said: “A contract with the largest Russian producer of the heavy motor trucks demonstrates active participation of the Company in the state import substitution program. Modern model range as well as competitive prices make the agreement beneficial for both parties. The renewal of its operating motor vehicle fleet will let Rosneft enhance its business efficiency and cut the operating costs thanks to the alignment of the vehicle park and service optimization”.

The initial agreement on the transport purchase from KAMAZ for the Company’s use was reached during the meeting of Rosneft Chairman of the Management Board Igor Sechin and Rostec CEO Sergey Chemezov which took place at the XIX St Petersburg International Economic Forum in June 2015.
