PMTT will supply transformers for Krasnoyarskaya HPP

Power Machines – Toshiba High Voltage Transformers LLC (PMTT) will supply transformers for one of Russia’s and world’s largest hydraulic power plants – Krasnoyarskaya HPP of EvroSibEnergo.

Under the terms of the contract, PMTT will design, manufacture and deliver three 220 kV autotransformers with a capacity of 63 MVA each for modernization of Krasnoyarskaya HPP’s transformer station.

The scope of obligations undertaken by the joint venture also includes supervised installation of the equipment and customer’s personnel training.

The first transformer is scheduled to be delivered to the site by end of 2016, and the other two – in the first half of 2017.
