Transneft North in 2015 fully performed the Technical Upgrading and Overhaul Program

According to the TUR&OH program, in 2015 the works had to be performed at 62 facilities; the works on 12 facilities will be continued in 2016. All the 50 facilities, which were planned to be commissioned in 2015 according to the program, were commissioned.

As the linear portion of the trunk pipelines of Transneft North, JSC is constructed mostly as a single line, additional security control and their functioning reliability control is required. The measures, taken at production site, are meant for increasing the level of industrial facilities safety, as well as preventing possible environmental damage. In 2015 as part of Technical Upgrading, Revamping and Overhaul Program (TUR&OH) planned repair works were conducted and 7 linear portion (LP) facilities of Usa – Ukhta and Ukhta – Yaroslavl oil trunk pipelines (OTP) were commissioned. Total length of the sections of the linear portion replaced in 2015 as a single line is equal to 70.04 km. In 2016 reconstruction and replacement of the pipes will be performed at 71.5 km of the linear portion. In total within the period from 2015 to 2020 Transneft North, JSC plans to replace 268 km of oil pipelines.

The planned works on construction and reconstruction of tank farms at oil pump stations (OPS) Usa (Usa Regional Department), Privodino (Vologda Regional Department), Ukhta-1 and PCS (pipeline commissioning site) Ukhta (Ukhta Regional Department) were finished. In 2015 three tanks for oil storage with total capacity of 35 thousand cubic meters and two tanks for emergency water each with capacity of 3 thousand cubic meters (VST30000 (vertical steel tank) were commissioned. In total the Transneft North, JSC system has 25 vertical steel tanks (VST) with total capacity of 352 thousand cubic meters.

Besides, at OPS replacement of relay automated control systems with the systems using microprocessor technology is continued. In 2015 technical upgrading of automated process control system at Gryazovets OPS and Nyuksenitsa OPS (Vologda RPD (Regional Oil Pipeline Department) was performed, centralized emergency automation system and leakage detection system of Ukhta – Yaroslavl OTP (0 km – 1,134 km), as well as system of level and temperature control of tank farm at Ukhta-1 OPS of Ukhta RPD were commissioned.

As part of TUR&OH program Transneft North, JSC in 2015 constructed and repaired several buildings and constructions. CMD (central maintenance department) building of Privodino OPS and equipment washing building of UV&SPMD (utility vehicle and special-purpose machinery department) were constructed, technical security equipment complex of Urdoma OPS was reconstructed. Besides, in 2015 construction of two rotators’ camps at Chikshino OPS and Zelenoborsk OPS started, Yaroslavl LMS (line maintenance service) building is under construction; these facilities are planned to be commissioned in 2016. In 2017 construction of administration and amenity block of Usa RPD will be finished; construction and installation works on this facility started in May 2015.
