Regarding conventional capacity, Konakovskaya output dropped as the plant was utilised less by the System Operator, while output from Reftinskaya and the conventional units within the Sredneuralskaya facility was above the level of the previous year, increases that were mainly driven by the lower number of maintenance and modernisation works at both power plants during 2015. Nevinnomysskaya production remained broadly in line with the high output levels from last year thanks to increased consumption in southern Russia.
Power sales in the reporting period stood at 48,365 GWh, in line with the figure posted in 2014 (down 36 GWh or 0.1%).
Heat sales stood at 5.622 million Gcal, a year-on-year drop of 11.6% that was mainly due to warmer average temperatures during 2015 and modernisation works at Sredneuralskaya GRES’ district heating system.
