Turboatom continue work on equipment for NPP Paksi

At PJSC "Turboatom" continues to work on project for modernization of turbines for NPP Paksi (Hungary). At workshops of enterprise are in manufacture high-pressure rotors (HPR), diaphragms and blades of the fifth stage of low pressure.

Until the end of March 2016 is expected to finish blading and balancing of the first rotor and provide it to customer for geometry control. Next rotor planned for manufacture in June this year.

In March, also planned to complete manufacture of four rows of rotor blades of the fifth stage of low pressure rotor for Unit No 2 NPP Paksi.

Two contracts with NPP Paksi were concluded with enterprise in 2015. According to the first PJSC "Turboatom" will modernize eight turbines K-220-44 rated capacity of 220 MW on all four Units of NPP Paksi. This modernization is aimed for capacity increase, increase of turnaround time and service life of turbines. The other contract covers supply of twelve rows of rotor blades of last stage of turbine for Unit No 2 NPP Paksi.
