Construction of 293 km of linear portion, a pipe-end OPS (oil pump station) with a tank farm of 80 thousand cubic metres, two booster OPS and external electricity supply facilities is planned. Implementation of the project will allow supplying oil to Komsomolsk Refinery through the system of oil trunk pipelines of Transneft, JSC in the amount of up to 8 million tons a year.
The pipeline offshoot will pass through the territories of Amursky, Komsomolsky and Solnechny Districts of Khabarovsk Territory. The route is characterized with a large number of boggy and watered areas, in total 139 water barriers will be overcome, including four large ones – through the rivers Selgon, Kharpi, Alkan, Khevchen. Construction and installation works in the boggy and watered areas are planned to be conducted mostly in winter.
From June 2015 construction of a route road is conducted for the purpose of providing access to the oil pipeline. The planned period of the works completion is the second semester of 2016.
Installation and welding at the oil pipeline route started in February 2016 at the section 76.1 km – 136.2 km, preparation to welding, which will start in March, is conducted at the sections 136.2 km – 222.4 km and 222.4 km – 293 km. The bulk of installation and welding is planned for winter 2016-2017.
