Gas compression system manufactured by Kazancompressormash is put into operation at LUKOIL’s refinery

Gas compression system on the basis of 5GC2-287/15-57 compressor is driven by gas turbine engine with rated power of 25 MW by means of the gearbox. Gas compression system is completed by steam recovery boiler providing for generation of steam with temperature of 310°C and pressure of 39 bar, gas separators, air-cooling units, fuel gas treatment unit, water treatment units and other process equipment. Application of a centrifugal compressor with “back-to-back” impeller arrangement provided for compression of gas to the required level within one compressor casing and reduction of operational costs for seal and lube oil systems.

Complete gas compression system is manufactured and supplied within the project of Stavrolen for the construction of the first phase of the gas processing plant (GPP-1) with a capacity of 2 billion. m3/year designed for processing of associated petroleum gas supplied from fields named after Yu. Korchagin and V. Filanovsky.
