Turboatom finished work on Kakhovka HPP

Remaining components of turbine modernization will be shipped according to schedule. Works on equipment manufacture lasted for 7 months.

In accordance with contract concluded in 2014 PJSC "Turboatom" modernized Kaplan type turbines for hydraulic unit (station No 2) Kakhovka HPP. Specialists of enterprise made new wicket gates, wicket gate bearings, shaft, oil head, also runner, upper and bottom rings of distributor were modernized and replacement of embedded parts was implemented. Reliability and service life of turbine increased after rehabilitation. Obligations of enterprise include supervision of erection, participation in pre-commissioning and commissioning of equipment.
