In order to implement policy of SE Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (INPP) in the field of human resources management and enhance qualification of senior personnel and specialists, managerial skills and competence improvement training has been provided at SE Ignalina NPP since 2013 according to the INPP Personnel Qualification Improvement and Support Programme.
About 70% of all managers and specialists of the enterprise (767 employees) were trained under the mentioned programme starting from 2013 up to May 2016. The training included four programmes: managerial skills training programme, computer skills training programme, business English and Lithuanian languages training programmes.
The programmes were developed taking into account the existing knowledge, skills and individual needs of the personnel. In addition to qualification improvement, gaining of new knowledge and skills essential to routine activities, such trainings also facilitate the formation of strong basis for the employees to make further contributions to the enterprise efficiency and performance improvement process.
