TKZ equipment for Yakutskaya SDPP-2 under construction has successfully passed hydraulic tests

Hydraulic tests have been completed at Yakutskaya SDPP-2 under construction (first stage) of four hot-water heat-recovery boilers manufactured by the Taganrog Boilermaking Plant “Krasny Kotelshchik” (TKZ) being part of the Power Machines company.

Heat-recovery boilers are the major equipment of the SDPP along with gas turbine plants and peak water-heating boilers.

Among key points of the boilers designed, manufactured and supplied by the TKZ specialists there is high stability against thermal shocks and low heat retention, which allows performing quick start of this equipment under Far North conditions. Also these boiler units may operate smoothly under seismic impact up to 7 points.

New equipment is intended for heating of delivery water by using of heat from the gas turbine plants that will give a possibility to heat the city of Yakutsk located five kilometers away from the SDPP under construction.
