Oil Company Yangpur got the right to conduct geological study of subsoil plot of Izvestinsky license area

Federal budget organization Rosgeolekspertiza approved the “Addendum to the Area project of exploration operations” prepared by the specialists of the production company. It has become the second most important document for the oil search works after the updated license.

In June 2015 JSC Oil company Yangpur made an addition to the license for subsurface use of Izvestinsky license area. It allowed to update the license agreement ahead of time that is mandatory for all users of mineral resources of the Russian Federation. Also, the period of validity of the license was extended from 2018 up to 2035, reopened the survey and assessment work in the territory of Izvestinsky license area. One of the conditions in the preparation of a supplement to the license was that the JSC NC Yangpur undertook to prepare and approve in the established order "The supplement to the areal project of exploration works" of the licensed area. This condition Yangpur specialists completed in time. In drawing up the supplement they used processing and reinterpretation of seismic data, which was made by BelNIPIneft.

The new project document plans the drilling of six exploration wells with a projected depth from 2640 m to 3070 m and with the designated horizons. Drilling is planned to carry out in 2018-2023.
