Contract signed for supply of equipment for Kanev HPP

Project financed at the expense of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Implementation of the contract considered for five years.

"Turboatom" is general contractor for "turnkey" project. Enterprise will supply to the plant 7 hydraulic turbines, 7 generators, 8 sets of auxiliary systems, implement dismantling, installation, precommissioning and commissioning. Among them "Turboatom" will develop documentation, conduct model tests and manufacture hydraulic turbines PL 7 15-GC-600 for rehabilitation of Kanev HPP.

During rehabilitation of hydroelectric power plant new high-performance adjustable-blade runners with diameter of 6 meters will be installed with upgraded blade system, as well as distributor, equipped with new guide vanes with improved profile.

Contract was signed under results of tender, in which PJSC "Turboatom" with partners SE "Plant"Electrotyazhmash" and consortium "RMA Ukrgidroenergobud" won competitors German consortium ANDRITZ HYDRO and Chinese company Power China-Nari in ratio of "price and quality".

In work on contract implementation also take part Ukrainian suppliers of blanks and materials: PJSC "Energomashspetsstal", LLC "RMA Energoregulator" and others. Dismantling, installation and commissioning works performs PJSC "Dnipro-SGEM" and LLC "STC Enpasselektro".

After rehabilitation capacity of hydraulic plant will increase from 19.2 MW to 23 MW, will increase efficiency and improve reliability and durability of turbine. At Kanev HPP installed 24 hydraulic turbines manufactured by PJSC "Turboatom." As for today 14 turbines commissioned.
