Comment by Maxim Sergeev, CEO at Inter RAO – Export LLC:
“Cuba is a strategic priority market for our business development. Inter RAO – Export engagement in modernization of the existing power units of Unión Eléctrica plants would ensure a certain synergy due to the following factors. The first one is minimization of executive expenses, as since 2017 our branch office will be functioning in Havana as a part of the new power units construction project accomplishment. The other ones are our experience in working the Cuban Customer and a deep insight of the Cuban electric power system”.
