Turboatom concluded contract for supply of equipment for the fourth unit of Dniester HPSPP

In accordance with contract PJSC "Turboatom" will manufacture and supply complete set of equipment for reversible radial-axial hydraulic turbine OPO 170-B-730, including embedded parts, embedded cones, stator, spiral chamber, runner, distributor, relays and turbine mechanisms. Weight of hydraulic turbine per se will be about 2 thousand tons.

Enterprise will also carry out supervision of erection, participation in starting-up and adjustment and commissioning of unit.

Maximum capacity of hydraulic turbine in turbine mode will be 390 MW, in pump mode - 420 MW. This turbine will be beginning of the second stage of Dniester HPSPP. As a result, after commissioning that is scheduled for 2019, generation of electricity will be 768 million kWh per year.

All three hydraulic units of the first start-up facility were designed and manufactured by PJSC "Turboatom".
