Both new Gomel fast charging stations (gas station number 20 and petrol station number 59) have three most common connectors (plugs). This is Type 2 for AC charging with medium speed (Mode 3 mode), CCS and CHAdeMO for fast DC charging (Mode 4 mode).
In August, a charging station for electric vehicles started operating in the Grodno region. It became the second in the region. It is located at filling station no. 84 (291 km of M-6, near the border crossing Bruzgi). The station is designed for express charging – in 15-30 minutes you will charge you battery up to 80%. You can charge your vehicle here using chargers of the following standards: Mode-4 and Mode-3, on three connectors - the direct current CHAdeMO and CCS, alternating current on the connector Type 2 AC.
The places of installation of charging stations were chosen taking into account the perspective development of electromobile transport and its movement through the territory of the Republic of Belarus. By the way, at one time the oil companies decided not only to participate in the creation of infrastructure, but also to test the pros and cons of the installed equipment for charging. For several years already electric Nissan Leaf has been conducting such tests.
To unfold the service for charging electric vehicles, "Belorusneft" is suitable in stages. Until the end of 2017 it is planned to put into operation in the country seven more charging stations for electric vehicles.
Andrey Kotik, Deputy Director General of RUE "Production Association" Belorusneft ":
"The company Belorusneft successfully implements plans to create a republican charging network for electric vehicles and is ready to act as a national network operator for charging electric vehicles. We plan that by the beginning of 2021 we will build a total of 40 electric stations - with a distance between them of 50 kilometers. Thus, all major highways will be covered in Belarus. That will significantly add convenience for movement to the Belarusian electric transport adherents and foreign guests. "
