In 1Q 2018 total sales volumes increased by 10% compared with the previous year and amounted to 31.7 million tonnes of coal and other products.
The volume of international sales increased by 10% and amounted to 14.2 million tonnes of coal and other products while the volume of sales of own products increased by 2% to 11.0 million tonnes. The main directions of international supplies are China, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Turkey and Germany.
The increase in domestic sales was 10%. Russian consumers were sold 17.5 million tonnes of coal, 13.8 million tonnes of which were supplied to power generation companies.
