The total number of Rosneft Aero regular customers amounts to more than 100 airlines. The company provides overwing fueling at 44 Russian and international airports as well as it owns 18 bulk fuel installations. The largest of the facilities “Sheremetyevo Refueling Complex” supplies airlines with more than 1 mn tons of aviation fuel annually, which makes up more than 50% of all aircraft refueling at the airport. This volume allows securing around 150,000 aircraft sorties a year and over 400 aircraft sorties a day.
The Centralized Aircraft Refueling System at “Sheremetyevo Refueling Complex” is the most extensive and branched in Russia, which makes it unique.
The total length of the fuel-line system is over 42 km, and the length of the hydrate system exceeds 17 km.
“Sheremetyevo Refueling Complex” has a multi-level aviation fuel control system designed to monitor its quality. The core of the system is one of the most advanced in aviation industry laboratory of quality control. The laboratory conducts 4500 inspections annually. Each review includes up to 15 examinations by quality indicators.
To increase efficiency in the sale of aviation fuel, Rosneft Aero became one of the first operators in the Russian market that adopted a unified system of the electronic workflow. This system allows suppliers to receive all the necessary information from dispatchers and aircraft commanders online and exchange data with an aircraft and airport electronically. Consequently, the system helps significantly reduce the time of aircraft servicing and improve the economic efficiency of the carrier.
