The filling stations network of TATNEFT and PJSC KAMAZ are launching filling complexes with units for filling with liquefied natural gas.
The plans provide for the project to be implemented at the existing retail and distribution network facilities located on busy sections of federal highways M-5, M-7 and M-10. Customers will be able to appreciate three LNG filling stations of TATNEFT already this year, while 11 more stations are planned to be opened in 2022.
The environmental friendliness and efficiency of LNG were highly appreciated by the leading car manufacturers in Russia and Europe. The Tatarstan automobile manufacturing giant KAMAZ has successfully started the production of vehicles, which use liquefied natural gas, and plans to produce modern freight trucks of a new generation in the near future, which will also use LNG as fuel. Other automakers also demonstrate their interest in the possibility of refueling with liquefied natural gas at the existing TATNEFT’s network of filling stations.
TATNEFT is constantly improving performance characteristics of the produced oil products and petrochemical products in the context of the community’s growing demand for clean and affordable energy. TATNEFT has been developing infrastructure for electric vehicles at the Company’s filling stations since 2015.
The retail and sales network of TATNEFT is expanding both through new construction and the acquisition of existing facilities, the proposal of refueling services covering the range from traditional fuels to LNG and the electricity, as well as related services is increasing.
The TATNEFT Group is implementing projects focused on reducing the carbon footprint. Sustainable development goals and international standards in the area of climate initiatives have been integrated into the Company's business processes.
