For the second consecutive year, it was decided to hold the training using the remote technologies in view of the complicated global epidemiological situation.
Deputy Head of Department of Gazprom Ms. Irina Inzhevatova, Deputy Head of HR Department of PetroVietnam Ms. Le Thi Lam Tra and Deputy Director, HR & Legal of Gazprom EP International Mr. Alexander Nikiforov took part in the program opening ceremony.
“Despite the online format, we tried to make the training program as useful as possible and included the most interesting and important topics in terms of studying the production experience of Gazprom in the presentations offered for viewing and listening. We hope that during the training you will learn a lot of new information and expand your professional expertise”, said Alexander Nikiforov in his welcoming speech.
The three-day course named Natural Gas Transportation, Storage and Distribution consisted of presentations and reports on the activities of the Gazprom Group Companies.
The Vietnamese specialists were introduced to the activities of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz LLC, Gazprom Transgaz Saint Petersburg LLC, Gazprom UGS, Sakhalin Energy Investment Company Ltd., Gazprom Pererabotka LLC. The representatives of PetroVietnam attended a course of lectures on Gazprom’s strategy, priority areas of development at the domestic and foreign markets, on the main characteristics of the gas transport system, natural gas transportation, storage and distribution, on the specifics of marketing and sales of LNG to the Asia-Pacific market, on the underground gas storage system in Russia and much more.
The participants highly appreciated the organization of the training program and expressed hope for continued cooperation in the area of personnel training and development.

Gazprom EP International in partnership with PetroVietnam implements a number of energy projects in Vietnam: from exploration to power generation.
In 2012, Gazprom and PetroVietnam signed an Agreement on Personnel Training. Under the Agreement, the Vietnamese specialists annually study for master’s degree and postgraduate degrees of the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas. In addition, both companies hold mutual trainings at their production facilities.
Throughout nine years, over 130 employees of PetroVietnam took part in 13 training programs.
