ZTR equipment will assist in compensation of the lack of Lithuanian power system capacity

“After closing of NPP Ingalinskaya the development of alternative power sources is the priority for Lithuania”, - noted Galiya Koshkina, Head of Foreign Countries Sales Department, - “Installation of ZTR transformers at TPP “Electrenai” will ensure partial compensation of the lack of capacity in the region”. The delivery is scheduled for the beginning of December 2010.
One autotransformer 250 MVA, 330 kV will be also supplied for Lithuanian company “Ekobana». Autotrtansformer is to be installed at s/s “Klaipeda” based on the project for extension of transmission line. Shipment is planned for July middle – August beginning.
Presently the production of both orders is launched.
Collaboration of JSC “Zaporozhtransformator” with Lithuania has continued since 1970. Within this period there have been supplied more than 70 units of equipment for various power objects of Lithuania. “Lithuania today is European market with high level of competition. Thereby, the renewal of ZTR work exactly in this market is a valuable achievement and evidence of high quality and compliance with the European customer requirements” – noted G. Koshkina.
