Pursuant to the Order of IDGC of North-West, the structure of the main judicial commission has been determined. The main judge of the competitions is Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of the company Georgy Turlov. Deputy Chief Engineer for operation and technological development Gennady Aleksandrov and Chief of the Technical Inspection Department Oleg Anfimov have been appointed assistants to the main judge. The stage judges of the commission have been also appointed.
Participants of the competitions will pass through examination of knowledge in operating rules, instructions and norms with use of the software complex. Practical stages will include freeing of a victim (manikin) from the action of electric current with a crossarm of a metal support without application of special equipment; rendering it first medical aid; extinguishing the fire source in the security zone of 35 kV OL at breakage and falling of a wire on the ground; connection of a stub line of a wire of a dead-end support (in conditions of the induced voltage); replacement of porcelain isolation by glass one; removal of an extraneous subject (surge) from 110 kV OL wires.
The winner brigade will represent IDGC of North-West at the All-Russia competitions held by JSC "IDGC Holding" in Penza in September 2010.
