Infill Drilling Program at TNK-BP’s Vanyoganskoe Field
Марта 30, 2010An infill drilling program involving the expansion of existing cluster pads has been launched at the Vanyoganskoe field (under development by TNK-BP’s Varyoganneftegaz subsidiary). This is an efficient economical method of boosting oil production. An additional 5 wells will be drilled this year at each of two cluster pads — No.7 and No.49.
A drill rig has already been set up at cluster pad No.49 and the new wells are expected to come on stream by July. The new wells at pad No.7 will be commissioned in September. |
