Technical innovations include screw piles and multiface poles, unweighted wire ACCR, PL overstrain limiters. Many of them are used at the territory of service of IDGC of Siberia now.
For example, there were overstrain limiters mounted instead of traditional lighting-surge proofing in Kemerovo region. Earlier they were mounted at substations only. As a result we managed to diminish the exploitation costs and the number of cut-offs caused by the overloads during storms.
There were new technical decisions of increasing of lighting-surge proofing of lines using the multicameral dischargers presented at the meeting of Scientific and technical board as well/
In addition to that, the experience of “Chitaenergo" in implementing this tactics was considered as positive. There was an ACCR wire mounted in Zabaikalsk region for increasing the throughput capacity of line, which allowed to reconstructs PL without changing the poles.
The deputy chief engineer of “IDGC of Siberia” - Viacheslav Sizov said: “The decision on transition to diagnostic-based maintenance of 35-110 kV PL was made.” STC has approved the suggestions made and now we are working on details. The transition described above will let us provide the local repairs of PL and, as a result, will increase the level of reliability of power supply.
