The Perm branch of IDGC of the Urals is planning to introduce housewide billing metering systems in 612 apartment houses

For several years Permenergo has been implementing the program for implementing housewide billing metering in housing owner partnerships (HOP) and managing companies in cases of joint responsibility for electric distribution grids.

As of the 1st January 2010, housewide billing metering systems were installed in 1,175 apartment houses of Perm and other large cities of the Perm Territory.
A total of 2,394 billing meters are installed. During the current year the number of houses equipped with housewide billing metering systems is planned to reach 1,787. In this case, the number of billing meters will grow to 3,354.
Implementation of the program will allow minimizing the risks of unauthorized access to metering systems, ensuring online collection of reliable and high quality data on electricity consumption, and contributing to higher energy efficiency of the utility system.
